On November 2/3, 2018, I will be hosting (together with Yifat Gutman) an international workshop on Memory Activism at Columbia University. This event, generously funded by the Fritz-Thyssen-Foundation, will bring together prominent memory scholars to debate key concepts and approaches in this emerging field that lies at the intersection of memory and social movement studies. The result will be a Handbook on Memory Activism, as well as future events, some of them involving memory activists.
