In addition to the Memory Studies Association, am involved in a number of professional networks:
I am the founding Co-Chair (together with Prof. Aline Sierp, Maastricht University) of the Research Network on Transnational Memory & Identity in Europe of the Council for European Studies. I am also currently one of the co-chairs of the German Studies Association's Interdisciplinary Memory Studies Network.
In addition, I am a member of the American Political Science Association and the German Political Science Association (Deutsche Vereinigung für Politische Wissenschaft), and the International Studies Association.
